Rocks, stones, and sea glass are found from the ground, rivers, lakes, ponds, and oceans.
All materials found are washed thoroughly and then boiled in water for 20+ minutes to clean removing any debris.
Some stones and sea glass that I use are purchased online or at craft stores.
Most of the sea glass that I use was given to me from my cousin Kim. She found them at Jamestown, Newport, Portsmouth, and Middletown, RI beaches.
16 guage copper wire used mostly (sometimes 18 guage). Wire colors are gold, rose gold, and silver.
Wire is tarnish-RESISTANT.
Tarnish-resistant
does not mean tarnish-proof
or waterproof.
It can tarnish over time.
Remove your jewelry before showering, swimming or engaging in activities that involve heavy water exposure.
Wire-wrapped jewelry can be delicate due to the intricate nature of its construction. Avoid putting pieces in your pocket or purse. The wire might get bent or scratched.
